Cathnor Recordings is a CD label based in Oxfordshire, England. The label exists to document the music I enjoy and would like to see find a wider audience

I have been deeply involved with listening to music for my entire life, and Cathnor serves as an extension of that relationship.
There is no other overarching philosophy behind Cathnor other than to release the very best music I can find in a manner that does it justice.

After a painfully long delay we are now very proud to announce that the seventh release in the Cathnor Standard Series is now available from our Shop page.

Wedding Ceremony captures four compositions, and one improvisation performed live in Belgium by the sextet of Lucio Capece, Julia Eckhardt, Christian Kesten, Radu Malfatti, Toshimaru Nakamura and Taku Sugimoto.
